Robert Eustace
Rob is a music obsessive with an affinity for the golden era of rock and pop. Rob spent the latter part of the 70's discovering the 60's and the best part of the 80's engaged with the 70's. His thirst for musical discovery continues.
Relocating from London, Rob has spent many years embracing pub rock, in appreciation of, in some cases "the stars that never were".
Rob was called to The Guards in January 2009 and is fast establishing himself as the guy that sings the hard stuff. Rob's vocal range is pretty impressive and he is always called on when the going gets tough. This inevitably means that he steals the limelight and takes the glory but the band don't mind. Fortunately, Rob has not been struck down with singeritis and still pulls his weight in the band when the hard work needs doing.

Equipment
Rob plays a new Fender Stratocaster. A white guitar with a maple neck similar to the Hendrix Woodstock Strat. It's a luscious guitar and perfect for Rob's subtle playing.
The Strat is plugged into a Fender Twin. The Classic Amp. It has more power than he knows what to do with but that's the way he likes it.
For the gentle stuff Rob plays his Martin Acoustic. It's fair to say that there have been several attempts to steal the guitar from him but Jason has been warned and promised to leave it alone now.
Rob uses Boss effects - delay and distortion but tends to rely on his amp for most of his sounds.
