Come up and see me (make me smile). Originally recorded by Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel in 1975. The song has been a favourite in The Guards live set since the band formed in 2006.
This recording by The Guards is the first release by the band and is offered here as a free download to say thanks to all that have supported them so far. It was recorded during January and Febuary 2010.
The song was a last minute addition to the list of 2010 planned recordings but suprisingly (to the band), was the quickest to come together. Recorded at Darren's private studio in Cambridgeshire, UK, the track features all the usual suspects....
Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Darren.
Additional engineering by Alfie
Recorded at 24bit 48khtz 192k - minimal squashing, maximum quality!
