Darren Bullough
Dazza has been playing the drums since the age of fourteen and is completely self taught. His solid grooves and emotion packed fills provide a solid backbone to the band. A man of many talents he is The Guards producer and techno guru. He is fast becoming known as the man to go to for high quality recordings. Check out The Guards tracks. He also writes and arranges.
As well as playing drums, he also plays piano and sings - again, totally self taught. Outside of The Guards, he can sometimes be found performing his own piano/vocal set. When he's not doing that he more than likely locked away in his own studio creating all sorts of noises
As a professional musician during the nineties, Dazza clocked up more recording hours and gigs than he can remember and worked with many well respected musicians and producers. It was during this time that he developed his skills as a studio engineer and producer. Darren has a passion for capturing atmospheres and emotions in his recordings and is obsessed with audio quility!
